At Home In Our Bodies

repost from

To add to Jon Kabat-Zinn’s comment above we often need to develop great compassion and kindness to be able to look deeply into the nature of pain.  To heal those frozen, aching, horrified, terrified parts of ourselves we need a full heart, steady and sure, calm in the face of distress.

The best part of all this is — we can cultivate those qualities and bring them in to our bodies, hearts, and minds to wash and clean and clear the pain that has gnawed at us for years.
